WHO I AM
I am a business broker by background with deep experience working directly with owner-operators of lower-middle-market businesses. My practice has historically focused on companies with enterprise values between approximately $500,000 and $5 million.
That experience provides two capabilities most acquisition platforms lack:
- Direct access to owner-operators who may be reluctant to engage with institutional buyers
- The ability to translate informal, unstructured owner conversations into disciplined, executable opportunities
I do not represent sellers in these engagements. I independently engage and screen owners and introduce opportunities only when there is clear alignment with buyer criteria.

WHAT I DO
I provide buy-side origination and seller qualification services, including:
- Target identification and owner outreach
- Confidential seller engagement
- NDA coordination
- Collection and high-level review of financials
- Normalization of earnings (SDE)
- Qualification of seller intent, timing, and reasonability
- Seller positioning and expectation management through the LOI stage
Sellers are screened prior to buyer introduction. Upon LOI execution, buyers assume full control of diligence, negotiation, and closing.
ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE
Platform Origination (Retained)
This model is designed for ongoing or multi-market acquisition mandates.
- Fixed-term or monthly origination retainer
- Retainer compensates dedicated origination capacity and persistence
- Retainer is fully credited against success fees
- Success fees are payable only upon completed acquisitions and tied to enterprise value
OPERATING RATIONALE
Most acquisition efforts fail upstream—not because opportunities don’t exist, but because owners never meaningfully engage. Off-market origination is inherently low-yield and time-intensive, and the majority of work occurs before disclosure ever happens.
This model focuses on disciplined seller engagement, education, and screening so that buyers spend time only on opportunities that are real, informed, and aligned.
